Dear Fellow Citizens of Denham Springs,

We are proud to introduce your new garbage, trash and recycling collection service. There are several improvements and changes. You will now have a large 96-gallon rolling garbage cart to replace your cans and bags. This cart will be picked up twice a week with an automated collection vehicle. You will also have once a week (only) service for out-of-cart contents, bulky trash pickup and recycling.

Garbage cart delivery will begin Tuesday, November 8 and will take about a week. You can start using the cart as soon as you get one.

The small recycling bins are being replaced by 96-gallon rolling carts as well. We are confident this will increase the recycling participation in our City. Your recycling cart will be delivered on Tuesdays when you place your current recycling bin at the curb.

Please note that the new service pickup schedule for garbage, trash and recycling is outlined below, along with helpful contacts for questions or concerns in putting out your garbage, trash and recycling.

Your service provider, Allied Waste, remains the same. Working together, this will be a great improvement for appearance, efficiency and safety in the City of Denham Springs.
