Preservation is in progress in Denham Springs, where roots run deep and much of the “fruit” remains near the “trees,” yielding long-time residents with strong ancestral bonds and cherished memories. This close-knit community proudly shares its rich heritage and treasures old buildings and architecture, especially that in the diverse Historic Preservation District in “old town,” now home to Old City Hall Welcome Center & Museum and over 25 shops in the Antiques & Arts District, offering cafes and door-to-door shopping.
