Hours: Daily, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Services: The center fields calls reporting stray and/or vicious animals or other problems with animals. It is the center's responsibility to collect/receive stray animals and house them. Denham Springs Police handles calls of animals deemed vicious or dangerous. Animal Control houses, feeds, waters, exercises and handles vaccinations. Denham Springs has a 'no kill' policy and Animal Control serves as a collection and adoption center for unwanted or unclaimed dogs and cats from within the city limits, aggressively pursuing adoption of all healthy animals. They will not take pets from outside the City.

Donations for the care of Denham Spring's stray animals may be made by mail to: Animal Control, P.O. Box 1629, Denham Springs, LA 70727-1629. Other donations of items may be dropped off at the Animal Control center located at the Bowman Street address listed below.
