City of Denham Springs
Robert Poole was first elected to the City Council in 2003 and reelected in 2014. A lifelong Republican and constitutional conservative, Poole serves currently as the Chairman of the Denham Springs Economic Development District as well as holding membership in Louisiana Association of Business & Industry, International Society for Automation and Water Environment Federation and recently as a Board Member for Fire Protection District #5.
Owner of Process Automation & Controls, LLC, Poole works extensively in the field of automation & control systems within the petro-chemical industry. He is also a licensed Real Estate Agent. He attended LSU majoring in Accounting and is a 1984 Graduate of Denham Springs High School.
Poole is an active member of Live Oak United Methodist Church and is married to Jessica Walker Poole. He has a son, Austin Poole, USMC, and three daughters: Ashley, Madison and Alexandra.
